END stands Environmentally Neutral Design. The company makes footwear for road and trail running as well as water sports, and their motto is do more with less. This young company has set a new ethic in corporate sustainability for athletic gear manufacturers. Their products are simply made with less stuff, and their ethic shows in their minimalist tradeshow booths and shoe boxes.

The Shoes:
Less material, less dye, less foam. The material that is there is leightweight, bamboo infused, and recycled. Several road and trail models are available. With the lightest trail runners coming in at only 7.5 grams, these babies are super light and flexible. We tested the trail runner in Moab in April - read our review!
The Shoe Box:
END's shoebox is made with 100% post consumer waste, a small amount of rice-based glue, and one shade of 100% soy based ink. Minimalist, effective, responsible.
